We are looking for a highly detailed and customer-focused Personal Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position located in Hamilton, New Jersey. This position requires exceptional, accurate and timely service to our clients to meet or exceed all of their insurance needs with expertise and integrity.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver outstanding and professional customer service to build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Provide proactive coverage reviews and recommendations by assessing client needs at inception and as policies renew
  • Respond to current and prospective client inquiries accurately, effectively and in a timely manner
  • Obtain necessary underwriting information to assist clients with coverage requirements;
  • Research and solve all client issues in a satisfactory manner
  • Process correspondence between the agency, clients and insurance carriers
  • Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in coverages, premiums, signatures, etc.
  • Complete all follow up and workflow transactions within a computerized environment to access and update client information
  • Perform timely data management and updating of the agency’s system
  • Provide insurance quotes and advice based on clients’ personal insurance needs.
  • Handle and process all new and renewal personal insurance for clients
  • Focus the majority of your time on renewal and service activities which will support the agency’s sales and retention goals
  • Following process workflows and log all activities in our Agency Management System, including updating applications, declaration pages, and processing all correspondence (memos, letters, faxes, email, etc.)
  • Process payments from clients and advise of different payment options that may be available from the carrier
  • Perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with the client service standards established by the agency
  • Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 year’s personal insurance agency experience required
  • Property & Casualty License required
  • Demonstrates professionalism at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedicated and reliable team player
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Insurance Company rating programs a plus
  • Experience with Applied Epic a plus
