Melissa Cooke joined Rue in 2022 as the Director of Sales, bringing over 20 years of management and sales experience.  As Director of Sales, Melissa is responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth and performance of the sales team.

As the leader of the sales team, Melissa helps the department define and navigate the sales cycle. She is also responsible for developing standards and procedures for qualifying and obtaining new business. In addition, she is responsible for ensuring Rue continues to meet our 95% client retention rate. Working alongside the President, Melissa is responsible for meeting revenue growth projections and profitability for Rue’s products and services. She is also instrumental in the training and coaching of both seasoned and junior sales team members.

In her previous role, Melissa assembled and directed a team of health insurance producers for a national brokerage firm. Through her expertise in networking and referrals, she was able to build an award-winning partnership with one of the country’s leading payroll companies in order to offer her clients the best in class technology to help manage their number one asset, their people.

Melissa is a licensed property, casualty, life, and health insurance producer.  Melissa enjoys being an active member of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.   Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband Greg and two daughters, Carly and Ella.
